During training sessions, participants are under the responsibility of the coaches or persons supervising the children.

Since 2017, a concept to promote physical activity has been specifically aimed at orientation cycles. It aims to encourage young people aged 12-15 to take up regular sporting activity (walking or running). To this end, weekly training sessions are scheduled for 6 consecutive sessions prior to the Course de l’Escalade. Training takes place outside school hours and is supervised by the project leaders.
