Races Poussin(e)s, Ecolier(e)s and Cadet(te)s

Ranking & Prizes

Age categories are ranked in chronological order of finish (gross time, i.e. the time elapsed between the firing of the pistol and crossing the finish line ). The first 10 runners in each category will be rewarded in the tent on the Promenade des Bastions.

Starting point

The start of all these races takes place on the rue de la Croix-Rouge in an area from the Place Neuve to the beginning of the rue de l’Athénée, closed to the public and in which the children are completely taken care of by our organization.

Finish point

Poussin(e)s and Ecolier(ère)s meet their parents in the Children’s Village, an area reserved exclusively for them in the upper right-hand section of the Promenade des Bastions. Details of this arrangement will be available in the fyler “Information aux parents” and online.

Parents-Children Race

Ranking & Prizes
Net times, i.e. the time elapsed between crossing the timing mat at the start line and the finish line, will be shown in alphabetical order (child’s surname). There isn’t a ranking, but a souvenir prize for each child.
Runners distribution
This race introduces 4 and 5 year-olds (2019 or 2020) to the Course de l’Escalade and prepares them to run on their own later on. The accompanying person must be at least 16 years old. Only one accompanying adult per child.
